4-way Formation Event
The 4-way competition this year should be hotter than ever. With a staggering number of teams last year, this year we have limited the maximum teams at 100. So please register early to ensure your place.

There will be FIVE categories in 4-way FS this year :-
- Rookie - Suitable for a FS skill levels... Only Randoms in this category
- A - Randoms and 8 Blocks
- AA - Randoms and 16 Blocks
- AAA Female - Randoms and all Blocks
- AAA Open - Randoms and all Blocks
Competition Format
The competition has ten rounds spread over two days, with practice and speed setting taking place on the Thursday before the competition. Five rounds will be completed on Friday, Five on Saturday. With prize giving and our party on Saturday evening.
Hopefully time permitting as previously we will have all teams entered fly all ten rounds.
We have a world class line up of judges, with Elisabet Mikaelsson as our chief.

Prize Fund

For the 2013 World Challenge 4-Way Formation Skydiving Open AAA category is a fantastic £11,000
divided as described below:
- 1st prize: £5,000
- 2nd prize: £3,000
- 3rd prize: £2,000
- 4th prize: £1,000
2-way Open Free Fly
The 2013 Open Free Fly competition is spread over two days with practice and speed setting taking place on Thursday the 4th of April. The Free Fly competition consists of nine rounds', three 'Compulsory rounds' and six 'Free rounds'.

Free Rounds
This is when the teams of two people perform artistic choreographed routines in the air, using the full space of the tunnel. Free routines are judged on originality, choreography, difficulty, aesthetic value and presentation.
Compulsory Rounds
This is similar in format to the formation skydiving discipline, in that the competitors are given a set of five manouvers (Randoms) which they need to complete and repeat as many times as they can in 60 seconds. These randoms are a mixture of head up and head down orientations.
Prize Fund
There is a massive prize fund of £3000 for the winners of the Open FreeFly category this year. The prizes are allocated as such:
- 1st place: £1500
- 2nd place: £1000
- 3rd place: £500
Dynamic 4-way - New !
2013 will see a new catagory of competition at the Bodyflight World Challenge. For those of you havent yet come across Dynamic 4-way flying its awesome and this is certainly a exciting new addition to the indoor competition stage.
The Competition: This completely new format to the world challenge is the category of the moment, with people across the free fly community already training in their own time.
Dynamic 4-way is an exciting new blend of free fly maneuvers drawn from a pool just like in a normal formation skydiving competition. Judging will be based on a combination of compulsory speed rounds and two free rounds.
So its time to find some friends and start learning the dive pool which can be found here on the Skywalkers blog. We will of course be posting the official dive pool and rules here soon.
