As the sun sets on 2006 - Bodyflight looks back at a successful year.

Bodyflight saw the New Year in with style. The champagne was flowing, the music was pounding and of course the tunnel was running.

Free coaching was offered to guests from Fabian Raidel and Steve Hamilton as well as entertainment from DJ Richie and magician Matt Stirling.


But after the clear up the next morning, we took the time to have a look back over the previous 12 months.


Competitions

April saw the first ever Bodyflight World challenge. Dubbed "The most significant international competition for skydivers".

It was the first competition of its kind and a huge money meet. The standard of flying was very high with 4-way team Airspeed Odyssey and FF team Element R both taking Gold

The Bodyflight squad did us proud over the summer months, bringing home a total of 10 medals.  Frenzy won a Gold and a Silver in the Rookie category, Storm did fantastically well in the AA category bringing home 3 Gold medals including one from the nationals.


Havoc achieved Silver and a Bronze in the AAA events and Bodyflight Rage won one of all three! Rage also came top in the grand prix events throughout the summer.

Expansion

The facility itself has also expanded over the last year as we opened a new accommodation block, conference and games rooms and the Bodyflight Caf
