Bodyflight teams Storm the nationals
The UK skydiving nationals were completed at Hibaldstow airfield last weekend, after bad weather rained the competition off from the 18th and 19th of August.
Bodyflight sponsored teams dominated the score boards with a first and second place in the AAA 4-way formation flying and a gold medal in the AAA Free Fly competition.
It was a case of Girls on top with all female teams Bodyflight Storm (Above) who took gold and Team Elan (Below right) who took silver in the 4-way event. Both teams have been training incredibly hard, fitting in their working schedules and coaching
commitments around their own training.
Both teams have now qualified for the world meet. Storm, having taken Gold, will decide later this year if they want to compeate in the Open or Womens world compettion; Having qualified for both. Elan will then take their place in the oposite competition.
Bronze was taken by team Aardvark Zulu who came 12th in the Bodyflight world challenge in April. Well done guys!
In the free fly event team Outbreak, who are sponsored by Bodyflight and Boogieman freefly suits took gold with a massive score of 57.9.
Mike Carpenter and Jim Harris can be seen doing their routine on the left here. Their cameraman Andy Newall also took gold for his camera work.
Other people to congratulate are staff members Brendon O'Rafferty and Chris Hollis whos teams also took medals.
