Bodyflight Storm crowned World Champions

Bodyflight Storm, the British national skydiving team, have claimed the Gold medal at the World Championships in France.

Storm, who are sponsored by Bodyflight, entered the Women's competition in 4-way formation skydiving.

The team is made up of Kate Stevens, Caire 'Sparky' Scott, Hannah Betts, Sarah Smith and camera man Gary 'Swoop' Wainwright.

The team finished just 1 point ahead of the American women's team Fastrax blue.

This is a fantastic result for the team who have all worked so hard this year. They have not only trained at the Bodyflight tunnel but also at UK Drop Zones Weston and Langar as well as Perris in California.

It has been a roller coaster year for the team. As well as intensive training and coaching camps the team took part in the first ever live advertisement for Honda at the end of May. Along with a number of other British skydivers they spelled out the letters H O N D A  live in freefall.

Congratulations to Storm and also to Bodyflight sponsored Freefly teams Babylon and Skywalkers who claimed Gold and Silver respectively in the freefly category.
