Take the plunge with Bodyflight's newest attraction

This weekend saw the grand opening of Bodyflight's newest attraction: Bodyflight Vertigo.

At 120 ft this is one of the tallest fan descender jumps in the UK.

Participants climb to the top of the Bodyflight tower where they can enjoy the views over Bedfordshire, before leaping from the side and plunging to the ground in an exhilarating jump.

Two World Champions also turned out to try out the adrenaline ride. Team mates Kate Stephens and Sarah Smith from formation skydiving team Bodyflight Storm came to Bodyflight to try it out.

"It is a little bit scary actually" Says Kate Stephens veteran of 3000+ skydivers. It's just that unknown factor of not having done it before. It's an amazing experience though and I'm so glad I've done it

"I've jumped out of planes for the last nine years but this is something else. It really does get your adrenaline pumping!" Says Sarah Smith 31.

Professional skydivers weren't the only ones to try out the jumps. Many members of the public turned out to give it a go on the attractions first ever day of operation.

The Fan descender is available to book for just £30 per jump. Combined packages with flights in the wind tunnel are available from as little as £69.
