Section A: General Bookings Terms & Conditions
1.0 Booking
1.1 Pre-booking is advisable to ensure your preferred date and time.
1.2 No booking may be entered into the Booking System unless payment is made or a Bank Transfer or cheque is initiated.
1.3 Bodyflight Bedford cannot guarantee any rotations, regardless of the length of session; although all efforts will be made to accommodate any requested rotations.
2.0 Payment
2.1 All bookings must be paid for in full, in advance over the phone or in person, using a credit or debit card.
2.2 Bank Transfers and cheques may also be accepted providing bookings are more than 30 days in advance.
2.3 To qualify for a bulk time discount, payment must be made in one transaction.
2.4 If paying by Bank Transfer or cheque, allow a minimum of 10 days for funds to appear in the Bodyflight Limited account.
2.5 Failure to pay before the specified deadline will result in the booking being removed from the Bookings System.
2.6 If paying by Bank Transfer, any additional bank charges must be paid for by the customer.
2.6 If there is the ability to include a reference on the Bank Transfer please use your booking reference number.
3.0 Arrival Times
3.1 If it is your first visit, please make sure that you arrive at least 1 hour before your flight time.
3.2 If you miss your pre-flight briefing you will be unable to fly and will not be reimbursed or offered an alternative flight.
4.0 Redeeming Vouchers
4.1 If you are using a voucher, please bring this with you, it is proof of your payment and your eligibility to fly.
4.2 If you do not bring your voucher you will not be able to fly unless another purchase is made.
4.3 Any lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced free of charge.
4.4 Once purchased gift vouchers are non refundable.
4.5 All vouchers expire 12 months after purchase date.
5.0 Under 18s
5.1 Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to read and sign the Acceptance of Risk form on their behalf.
6.0 General Cancellation & No-Show Policy
6.1 No-shows will be considered as cancellations.
6.2 For bookings of flight time of under 60 minutes, the following cancellation policy applies:
6.2.1 With more than 72 hours notice you may be eligible for a refund minus administration costs of 5%. You also have the choice to reschedule your flight time.
6.2.2 With less than 72 hours notice you will be able to reschedule your flights.
6.2.3 With less than 24 hours notice you will be charged the full amount and will not be able to reschedule.
6.3 For bookings of flight time of 60 minutes or more, the following cancellation policy applies:
6.3.1 To cancel bookings totalling 60 minutes or more of tunnel time, to be eligible for a full refund minus administration costs of 5%, a notice period of three days per hour’s booking is required.
6.3.2 With less than 24 hours notice you will be charged the full amount.
6.3.3 All cancelations must be made by telephone only. Cancelations will not be taken any other way.
7.0 Group Bookings
7.1 Every sixth person flies for free for same type lessons (Only applies to Single and Double lessons) if all are booked at the same time in one transaction.
7.2 This group discount does not apply to gift vouchers unless all six lessons are printed on the same voucher.
7.3 On canceling sessions where customers have received the group discount, the 6th free place will be canceled first.
8.0 Fit to fly waiver forms
8.1 All new flyers at bodyflight will be asked to sign a fit to fly waiver form. You can view this form by clicking here.
Section B: Bulk Time Terms & Conditions
1.0 The Bulk Time Discount Scheme
1.1 Bodyflight Bedford rewards customers who pre-pay for their tunnel time in blocks of 30 minutes or more. Blocks of time of 30 minutes or more is considered Bulk Time. The Bulk Time Discount Scheme applies under certain circumstances. One hour of tunnel time costs £600. The more hours purchased in one transaction, the cheaper the hourly rate.
1.2 The hourly rate is determined by the number of hours purchased in one transaction
2.0 Bulk Time Price Structure
2.1 One hour costs £600. The hourly rate reduces by £10 per hour, up to 10 hours.
3.0 Booking Bulk Time
3.1 All Bulk Time does not have to be booked/scheduled upon purchase.
3.2 Unused tunnel time may be kept on file by the Office for you to use at a later date.
3.3 Bulk Time must be booked in blocks of 30 minutes or more.
3.4 Bulk Time can only be booked by the person who purchased the time although other people may be nominated by the purchaser who may also book the Bulk Time.
3.5 The individual who has purchased the Bulk Time must be present every time it is used.
4.0 Eligibility to Fly Bulk Time
4.1 Bulk Time is intended for use by experienced flyers only, however, up to four beginners per hour of Bulk Time may use this flight time.
4.2 It is highly recommended that beginners purchase Lessons.
5.0 High Power charges
5.1 Due to increasing electricity costs, there is a charge for the use of high power.
5.2 This is rated at £120 per hour in addition to the cost of your tunnel time.
5.3 This can be paid on the day but must be paid in advance of your flights.
5.4 Purchases of high power can be split into 15 minute increments. It is advisable to plan your sessions in advance so that all manouvers which require high power can be practiced together, reducing the amount of high power required.
SECTION C: VIP MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
PART 1
As of Spring 2007 we no longer offer membership for sale. We will honor the membership scheme for our existing members but are no longer able to offer it to new members.
How to Claim your 30 Minutes Free Tunnel Time:
1.1 This offer rewards individual Members for time purchased and flown by the member.
1.2 Members are entitled to receive 30 mins free for every 5 hours purchased.
1.3 This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers including time bought at bulk rate discount or any other promotion.
1.4 To accumulate time for this offer, time must be bought in amounts of one hour or less, purchased at standard rates.
1.5 Time must be purchased, booked and flown by the Member. The Member’s name and unique membership number must be quoted at time of booking.
1.6 In the case of Lessons (as opposed to Bulk Time) purchased by the Member, only the time physically flown by the Member can be counted towards the accumulated total.
1.7 All benefits and promotions are for the sole use of the Member concerned. They may not be transferred, sold on, or used by any other party.
PART 2
Quote Your Number!
2.1 Membership names and numbers should be quoted at the time of booking and again at the time of flight.
2.2 Quoting your Membership number is the only way to ensure your flying time is correctly calculated for the 30 min offer.
2.3 Non logged time cannot be verified later on.
PART 3
Reduced Rate Tunnel Time:
3.1 Tunnel time from general cancellations will be offered to Members according to the time preferences on the Membership Registration Form.
3.2 This time will be offered at a reduced rate.
3.3 We are keen to make sure all our Members get a fair share so if you are unable to accept an offered slot it will be offered to someone else.
3.4 If you decline three times, we will put other members in front of you in the calling order.
3.5 A Member's Block of 10 Single Lessons can be purchased for £260 for use solely by the Member.
3.6 The Member's Block of 10 Single Lessons may be used individually or all at once.
