The Bodyflight leisure centre is available for everyone to use. Whether you are staying on site in our accommodation, just visiting for the day, or if you live in the local area; the gymnasium, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, plunge pool and solarium are all available for use.

Uniquely, the Bodyflight leisure centre will not require users to sign up to an annual membership, but instead offers pay as you go, weekly and monthly membership options.

At just over 114 metres2 the Bodyflight gym is small enough to allow patrons to enjoy a private work out, but large enough to offer a range of the newest cardio vascular equipment and strength building free weights.

The facilities will be expanding over time to include a sports hall which will be available for hire. Regular classes will also be run here. Check the classes tab for more information.

Membership is now available from as little as £9! Please call 0845 200 2960 for more information.

The Gym

The Bodyflight gym is available for use now. It includes a range of equipment including:

  • Cross trainers
  • Rowing machines
  • Exercise bikes
  • Treadmills
  • Free weights
  • Exercise mats and fitness balls

The gym itself also leads out onto an outside terrace. So after your work out you can cool down whilst enjoying the beautiful view.

The Pool

Water Jet

Come and relax in Bodyflight's new luxury hydrotherapy pool. The state of the art facility features a 16m swimming pool, complete with counter current swim jets which create a current that users can swim against. The pool also encompasses a spa complete with jacuzzi, bubble seats, sauna, steam room and plunge pool.

The pool and gymnasium are both open from 09:00 to 22:30 seven days a week. (Please note, the pool may be reserved for some classes at certain times. See below for a full list of classes.) Users will need to supply their own swim wear. Towels are available to hire from reception for a small charge.

The pool features a state of the art massage fountain.  A powerful jet of water is concentrated onto your back and shoulders to ease away muscle tension. The pool also has a Jacuzzi in the centre so that swimmers can relax after a couple of lengths. The waterproof TV screen has a live feed of the flyers in the tunnel so that you can even watch what is going on in the flight chamber.

Sauna & Steam Room

The sauna, steam room and plunge pool are hot and cold treatments designed to open and clear pores and help the body purge toxins though sweat. The sauna encourages your skin to sweat, helping your body expel toxins and improving your overall health whilst the steam room can help clear your skin of impurities and improve circulation, not to mention it’s very relaxing!

The plunge pool is a cold dip which stimulates the thyroid and helps maintain a healthy heart. The advised procedure is to shower first before entering the steam room. This will then open up your pores. Then shower again before using the plunge pool, quickly followed by the sauna. Remember – you must sit on a towel when using the sauna.

New users should not use the sauna or steam room for more than 15 minutes at a time. You should try to build up your tolerance slowly, adding a couple of minutes on each visit. Please remember, heat rises and so the higher benches in the sauna will feel warmer than the lower benches.
