David is still not quite sure why he signed up for a parachute jump whilst at college. He certainly didn't know that it would lead to a career in skydiving and an addiction to the sport and the lifestyle that goes with it.

He has been working in the sport since he was 17, and was on the team which took the World Record for the biggest mass exit from a hot air balloon in 2002.

However, he has the most fun when he is teaching others, and he thinks the Bodyflight Bedford wind tunnel is the best place in the world to teach people to fly, even if they've never even seen a parachute!
